I just missed Gwen by a couple of days as I passed through Camas because of a Portland conference I attended. I visited her room and spoke with her roommate. Gwen will always have a special place in my heart, Rosalie. I just had a nice visit with her a couple of months ago, on another visit. I miss her. Love, Maryanne

Rosalie: So very sorry to hear that your Mom has left us. She was one of my favorite people at Highland Terrace, as you know, and will truly be missed by all. Last I saw her 2-3 weeks agoshe said her legs were giving her problems but she was still smiling & sharp as ever. Please accept my sincerest condolences. With fond memories, Pat

Hi Rosalie, Dick and family, Just want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers, and how much I am missing Gwen. I went by the nursing home today to give Cathy a hug, and seeing her empty side of the room brought me to tears. She was an inspiration to me, and I will always hold her memory dear in my heart. Dear Rosalie, it was with a very heavy heart that I read of Gwen going home. I know she is happy today in the arms of our Dear Lord but I will miss her very much. I loved her dearly, as my own mother-in-law Ruth who was her good friend. I am happy to know though that today they are together again. However Highland Terrace will not be the same without her. My love and condolences to you and the family
