I am so sorry for the sudden loss of Erik. He was a neighbor, and had just left a cell phone message for me probably right before he died. He had wanted to know how deep the well was that I had installed. He had also professed to me that he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I hope this comforts you. It\'s with saddness I write this, but I must say, that Werner loved being on the farm he was working. I saw him at the June meeting, and after our customary huge hug, he told me how much he enjoyed working on his farm. He was so proud of it. His tenacity toward the farm was just a margin of work compared to what he had done for our Cowlitz Tribe, dedicating so many years of unfaultering service. He will be dearly missed, but will continue to be in our hearts as we tredge forth with the path he has outlined for us. God bless you all, the Cloquet Family.

I got to know both Werner and John when we were young kids. They would be staying at their grandparents farm which was next to my parents farm. I was shocked to hear of the accident that took Werner\'s life. My condolances to the family.
