GEORGE ALBERT THRALL
George Albert Bud Thrall was born November 21, 1922 in Portland, OR. He was a lifetime Washougal resident and passed away on Sunday, September 24 at home in Washougal.
He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII with service in the Pacific war zone, Philippines, Okinawa and Japan.
From 1960 to 1969 he was a member of the Washougal School Board. He was a former owner of Crown Appliance and Furniture from 1958 to1976.
His wife of 49 years, Joan, passed away in 1995. He is survived by sons, Ronald of Vancouver, Marvin of Littleton, CO; daughter, Vicki Slosson of Olympia; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; plus his special friend Virginia Bussey and his pet love-bird ?Precious.?
At his request there will be no services. His ashes will be inurned at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. To send condolences or to sign the online guest book visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com
