Just wanted to say I will miss Bud. He and I had some great times together in high school and later after the war prior to his getting married to Jo Ann. He was a great friend and I will miss him.

In memory of a GREAT FRIEND & Neighbor.... I knew of a woman who stood to speak At the funeral of a friend She referred to the dates of his life From the beginning ......to the end. She noted that first came his date of birth And spoke the following date with tears, But she said that what really mattered most of all Was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all of the time That he spent alive on earth.. And now only those who loved him Know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own: The cars.. the house..the cash, What matters is how we live and love And how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard... Are there things you\'d like to change? For you never know how much time is left, That can still be rearranged, If we could just slow down enough To consider what\'s true and real, And always try to understand The way other people feel. And to be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more, And love the people in our lives Like we\'ve never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, And more often wear a smile.... Remember that this special dash Might only last a while. So, when your eulogy is being read With your life\'s actions to rehash.. Would you be proud of the things they say About how you spent you dash?

Dear Ron, Marvin and Vicki, and families, Please accept our sincere condolences at the passing of your father and friend. We so enjoyed both your mother and father throughout all the years we\'ve known them, mostly since 1989. They were super neighbors and great friends. We will never forget the kindnesses that each one brought to us ... your mother with flowers and warm tapioca pudding and bananas, and your dad with visits, dinners and allowing us to purchase your old vacation retreat. There won\'t be a single day we are there that we won\'t be thinking about the Thrall family with the very best of thoughts. I\'ll be missing his friendly waves from his kitchen window to ours.
