Dear Marilee,
We didn\'t get a chance to visit with you after the Memorial Service last Saturday, but wanted you to know what a nice tribute it was to Blaine. Your letter was especially touching and reflective; and the comments from others were symbolic of his involvement in so many things--including the Slo Poks, and how much fun he was to be around. Our thoughts are with you and your family, and we share in your loss.

When I think of Blaine,I never saw him without a smile and a friendly greeting for me. I think quite often after we greeted one another, he usually had a quick joke or funny comment as well! Joe and Marilee I am sorry, may you always keep the warm thoughts close at hand.

Marilee, I was so saddened to hear about Blaine. I was glad that we were able to go to dinner at Bill\'s Chicken Inn while I was in Vancouver for my mothers funeral. I\'ll always remember Blaine from the Slo-Poks, Jeep Club and the Saddle Club. Blaine loved to have fun and he was always fun to be with. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God guide you thought this difficult time.

Marilee,
Sorry for your loss. I have some great downright hysterical memories of you and Blaine visiting me in the hospital after my initial diagnosis. You two arrived almost daily with balloons, board games Memory, a hoola hoop bright orange with noise balls inside that drove the nurses nuts and the biggest get well cards produced on earth signed with multi-colored ink that read "The Krazy Klemmers". I also remember Blaine drawing eyes on my eye patches three eyes per patch and you going back over his artwork and enhancing it to one eye per patch, complete with eye lashes. Last but not least, that "totally broke" pony that Blaine dropped off at my house actuall there were two, Sugar and Spice. Apparently he was under the impression that kids didn\'t really need legs, and it would be ok if the pony rubbed them off on fences and trees. Oh well, all in all, I\'m no worse for the wear. Take care. LaRee
