Granny Myrtle was my grandmother. I grew up and married in Southern Georgia. One of my fondest memories of Granny was the happiness and positivity that you always heard in her voice. Everyday was a beautiful day in her eyes, whether the sun was shining or the streets flooded by rain. I would have to say that the fondest of memories would be the love that she had for me, and this proven by the many miles she traveled at 80 years old to see my newborn son. This is the greatest memory that I believe one could have, "Oh, What a beautiful baby", she said!. My greatest regret is not speaking with her as often as I should have. Life passes us by with many regrets in tow.....
