To Marilyn, Dan & Charles's, Partner-in-Life, wife Delores, and others in this fine Family. We did not know your husband, but from knowing his dauighter & Husband through the Hoyt Family History and the Respects from others in this Guestbook who knew him, that Charles is a true Hoyt, for living the kind of life that I've seen over and over and read about in the Hoyt Book of 1871, in his Simon Hoyt families. Just know that his Kindness, his Loving and his Belief in his Christian Life, that Charles Heritage Hoyt, carried through, is a Testament for his Families & for the Others that knew of him. Our Sincere Condolences.

Dear Delores and family,
Charlie was a gift from God in our lives. A true man of God and witness for all who knew him. Your marriage and life together showed us an example of walking out your faith. He is with our Lord, but will be missed,
Prayers of comfort and peace,

I am so very glad I was able to share a cuppa tea and fig newtons with Charlie just recently...I loved the twinkle in his eye when he was about to eat a sweet treat! I think Delores, a great cook, trained him well thru their many years together...
When I think of Charlie Hoyt, I think of the very sweet, devoted, family man that he was. He shared many neighborly projects with my parents...in fact every time I see recurring frequent mole hills, I recall several misadventures in mole-control conducted by these two chemists in years past! I think the moles were pretty safe...
His feet were not especially large...but he certainly "left shoes that will be hard to fill".
He will always be remembered fondly by us. Jennet

Charles was a very gifted man who was generous with those gifts to those around him. I especially remember the wonderful harpsichord he built for Howard in the 1960's. Whenever we were performing with Joyce Garver's choir in Camas, he'd be there making recordings. He was always so interesting to talk to and so kind hearted. His faith was such a strong part of his life and I am sure was a comfort toward the last and will be sustaining for the family. His ability to tackle complex issues and his taking to technology was probably one of those features that kept him thinking young. God bless Dolores, Marilyn and the family at this time. He was a wonderful man who will be missed.

What a glorious day Monday was for Charlie- now singing praises and dancing with pure joy in Heaven with His Lord and Saviour.
Charlie was an inspiration to me as we met weekly in a small group. He loved God and it was evident as he shared insights and prayed for others. He will be gravely missed by Delores and his dear friends and family. Blessings to you, Charlie!

We feel privileged to have enjoyed so many happy and fun post-Christmas get togethers with Charles and Delores at Marilyn and Dan's house in New York. We met Charles only in his later years, but he was always so lively and such a warm, spiritual presence. We will miss him. We send our condolences to Delores, Marilyn, and the whole family.

Though I didn't know Charles all that well we met a number of times in the community and I always looked upon him as a cheerful, friendly person. What a shock to have read in the Post Record of his death. Love and prayers to his wife Dolores and family. God is with you in your sorrow and will help you heal.
