Lynn, Jeff, and family, I was sorry sorry to hear today of your Wonderful Mom's passing. We were her neighbors for the past 13 years until we just moved down the hill in Feb. I just loved your Mom and am so happy to have met her, always such a sweetheart. I know we will meet again one day. May you feel God's peace and comfort.
I am sending my love and condolences to you and your family. I just heard of your mom's passing and I am so sorry that I missed her funeral. Growing up in Camas, in the neighborhood that we grew up in, was a wonderful experience and your mom was a part of that. Of course Zion, holds a lot of the memories that I have of your mom also. I will keep you all in my prayers and know that your mom was truly loved by many.
Roger and I are so very sorry for your loss.
Evelyn was a one of a kind person! She always made us feel so special, was so kind and raised
a wonderful family. Heaven has a very special
new angel!!!
Our sincere condolences to the family.
Lynn & family ~ you will be in my prayers; so sorry for the loss of your mom. Your family was great neighbors to my grandparents for many years. Remember, Lynn, when my grandparents bought us matching dresses smile. Your mom was such a generous and sweet lady and nothing can be said to ease the pain of your loss, but I pray that God blesses you and gives you peace.
Always, Nadine
I realize what a loss Evelyn's passing is to family and her many friends. While we graduated together in 1943 from Camas High School, we shared many memories inspite of the many years apart. We spoke at great length at a reunion some years ago and I have wondered often about where she lived and the life she was leading. I share a sense your loss as there are too few of her fine character and attributes in our lives.
Evelyn never met a child she couldn't find reasons to love, nor adult she couldn't see the good within. She may not have agreed with or understood one's choices or behavior, but never judged all the same.
As a classmate and friend of Jeff's, I have spent many happy times at the Spellman home. Evelyn treated us all like family.
Thanks for being my 2nd Mom,
Ed.
