Our hearts are saddened! Steve was a wonderful man who lived what he believed. People mattered, and he worked tirelessly to make things better for the youth and folks in Camas whom he loved. We were among the many lucky ones to have known and worked with him through scouting. Because he opened his life to others and gave so freely of his time, Steve was a "another Dad" to many young men in our community. The lessons he helped teach live on!
Mary and family, I would like to send you my deepest sympathy and Prayers as you celebrate Steve's life. You will always have the wonderful memories of your time with him. I saw him last about 8 months ago at the Blood Center and gave him cookies and juice. We had a nice visit catching up on our families. I will always remember his smile.
God's Blessings, Love, Jean
My condolences go out to Steve's family - he brought a great deal of strength and guidance to my life; he made a real difference to me, and many others. A real leader, in so many ways. Thank you Steve!
Mary and family my love and prayers to you on this great, sudden loss. May your happy memories and the support of those who love you and hold you up in prayer be a comfort to you.
I feel so heartbroken for all of you. A person never gets over the loss of a loved one. Each day you learn how to deal with it differently. Keep each and every memory close to your heart. You are never far from my thoughts. Many prayers for you. Sarah
My love, prayers and thoughts go out to all the Haunreiter and Tran families. Steve was a gentle soul that touched so many lives in so many ways. He will live on in his children, grandchildren and those after. As the days, months and years pass by, it will get softer. Never forgotten, but softer. Strength, love and peace to each and everyone of you.
Sharon
