Shirley was one of a kind. So committed to the children at the schools she greeted them at in the office, but a fun, really fun, co-worker. It was a privilege to have known Shirley and to have been a part of the secretary group that enjoyed good times, good stories and fantastic parties.
The story that comes to mind when Shirley's name is mentioned is this, in her words; "I was driving into Vancouver and a cop pulled me over. I knew I was speeding, but didn't see him. He came up to my window and I said I guess you didn't pull me over to ask me out on a date." A true "Shirleyism." Shirley, you will be missed so much.
