Ronald Wayne Winter May 2, 1935 - October 10, 2013 Ronald Wayne Winter was born in McMinnville Oregon, raised in Banks, Oregon, and gained his first real world experience in Korea as a marine. He got married to Mary Raffle soon thereafter and raised his four children, Michael, Jeffery, Teresa and Laurie in Newport, Oregon. He continued his military service as a National Guardsman in the Newport, Oregon armory, causing no end of trouble for the men he then commanded.
