My deepest condolences to Ron's family and friends. Ron and I both were First Sergeants with 1/249th TOW Bn for many years and both of us were Federal Technicians until we retired. Ron and I both are US Marines and share the same traditional honor and respect for every fallen Marine. Ron is and will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. "SEMPER FI"
I'm sorry I cannot attend the services for this outstanding soldier and friend.
Ron always took care of soldiers and cared for everyone he served with. I have many memories of our days working together in the TOW Battalion. Annual Training at Camp Rilea to Gowen Field near Boise Idaho we were always competitive but always loyal to all our soldiers. Ron was a great soldier and it
is my pleasure to have served with him.
Ron and I worked together beginning in 1978 when I began working in Tillamook. I saw and spoke to Ron at the retiree lunch in Salem last month. I am sorry for the lost of a fellow engineer. ONE STEP BETTER

I am sorry that I will be unable to attend Ron's service. Ron was a great soldier and definitely took care of his troops. I will certainly miss him at our Semi-Annual Retiree Luncheons. I could always count on Ron's attendance. God Bless.
