My thoughts and prayers to Cecil's family that they find peace in his passing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
My thoughts turn to the times that he shared with our Girl Scout troop and always making sure that Shirley, Joanne and us girls would be successful in our camping trips, or the pride that he held in his yard and garden and the love that he had for his family. I looked up to Cecil, and spending time with the Douglas family as a youth will always be a treasured part of my life.
Gary and family.... It has been so many years since I've seen you. However, I remember your dad like it was yesterday, when we lived on J Street, which was Cherry Street back then. I remember us playing in each other's yards and your Dad being so welcoming of the "neighborhood gang." I am so sorry you've lost your dad. As in my case, I hope the wonderful memories you have help you through this sad time.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Cecil Douglas, and thank you, Sir, for your service to our country.
