I was so sorry to hear of Mr.Cooper's passing. I can't call him Tom. It just doesn't seem right. He was my 7th grade math teacher and was always very good to me. Mr Cooper used to kid me, because I had big feet, that I would always have a good foundation in life. Mr. Cooper always kept a watchful eye out for me. He was a good friend of our entire family and I feel he had a special place for us crazy Raynor's. Same was true with his brother Jerry, who I have to call Mr. Cooper number 2. Mr Cooper 2 was our high school vice principle and he was also very good to me and my older brother Mike. He kept both of us out of certain trouble time and again. When Mr Cooper 2 became ill...I took a card up to his home on the hill. He was laying on the couch and was very tired from a recent surgery. I was the last person in the Camas High School student body to see him alive. I still visit his grave site to this day. I hope and pray that both Mr Cooper's rest in peace.
