It was always a privilege to play hands against Elton and his partner. They were 'regulars' at table 4 in the Thursday game and competed well against the field. He did not let his vision affect his game; those of us aware of that limitation would call out the bid card or the playing card to ease his play, but he was a 'gamer' until the Club had to close due to the virus. My condolences to his partner and to his family for your loss.
