Donna, We send our condolences to the sad news; I was shocked to see in the Blair Paper last week that Leo had died. I like to think Leo was a good friend in our school days. In reading Leo's obituary, where it talked about him being the "cook and story teller" at the club; I can just see him telling stories. Back at good old Blair High, we sometimes referred to him as "Leo the Lip" for his bountiful gift of gab (i.e. in a good way). I think the last time I saw him (and you) was at his class reunion some years ago, but didn't get a chance to talk to him because he was busy visiting with all his classmates that he hadn't seen in many years. I hope Leo was in fairly good health up until the last. That picture of him was good. just like I remembered him, just a little fuller in the face. Leo was one of a kind! I’ll always remember him pulling on my pony tail when I’d go shopping with my mom at Safeway when I was little. He and Donna were great friends of my folks and they enjoyed going to the beach clamming and Hood Canal to get shrimp, crabs and clams. They also attended many Camas Fire Department functions together. I’m sure Leo and Dad are laughing and having a great time in Heaven catching up telling stories.
