Lew was a wonderful person to work with and great friend to exchange stories of being Norwegian and for me, Swedish.

May you cherish the long life Mr. Carlson lived to the full and learn from his example to do the same and pass his legacy on. Sorry for your loss. Isaiah 25:8

Thinking of the Carlson family. We were neighbors of Lew and Fern on Prune Hill. They were delightful people and always friendly. Peter always said he'd never quit mowing the lawn until Lew stopped- which he didn't. He worked so diligently in the yard. Lew was the resident mole killer here. We'd give him a chair and he'd put the bomb in the hole and wait! We haven't had a mole since. Thanks. Lew gave our grandson one of his treasured wooden carvings one Christmas. What a generous and caring thing. Thank you for sharing your parents with the City of Camas. We all have fond memories and enriched lives.

I enjoyed singing with Lew at the First Methodist Church in Camas. I have been gone from Camas for many years but still remember how welcoming he and Fern were.
