Eric started as a co-worker with my husband Brad and quickly became a family friend. When he came back to work in Alaska a couple years ago he stayed at our house and our two daughters quickly became obsessed with Uncle Eric who by the end of his stay turned into Magic Eric. Every night if the girls were good Eric would do a magic trick for them before bed, they would squeal in awe at them all. My girls and I were in Portland last May for a wedding and had a chance to meet up with Eric and Elizabeth before we headed to the airport, the first thing the girls said when we walked in the house was "Can you do a magic trick for us?!" He touched so many lives in so many ways, he will truly be missed. RIP Magic Eric.
