Obituary of Norma Jean Fine

Norma Fine October 21, 1932 – March 29, 2010 Norma was born in Tipton, Kansas on October 21st, 1932. She returned to her childhood home of Washougal, Washington and passed away peacefully amongst family and friends on March 29th, 2010. Norma is survived in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Dean, children; Jeffrey of Washougal, WA, Deena Michael Zeidler of Clayton, Lee Ann Erik Reimann of Concord, Christopher Sarah of Concord, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. On March 19th Norma traveled to Washougal, WA to spend valuable time with her extended family. We want to thank Donna, Al, James, Lou, Bob, Brian, Mike, Karen, Jess, Kim, Alex, for their loving support and help during those last precious days. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kenny Cochran for his dedication to our family during this difficult time. Norma will be remembered for her quick wit and strong sense of family. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays and made sure to impress long-standing traditions upon her children and grandchildren. Norma spent several years as a teaching assistant at Martin Luther King Jr. Preschool in Pittsburg and loved her job. Norma loved to read, she made sure to stress the importance of reading to the children she taught and her family as well. Norma will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was a wonderful woman who meant so much to so many people. Arrangements were under the direction of Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas.
