Mom, as we left Ca for your Memorial we got a call, Dr. Doug passed in his sleep. This is such a shock. We all loved him, we will all miss him. Our memories are forever. I know if you have the opportunity, you will watch over him and see to it he is ok. Our neighborhood memories are forever like, swimming, basketball, 4th of July fireworks, barbques, ice cream and Holiday deserts. Take good care both of you. Love and miss you. I laid some white roses at the cemetary, we sent some flowers with your ashes, we said goodbye for now, till we meet again, Loving you. Please keep Dr. Doug under your wing, he will be greatly missed as your missed. Love you!

After I met my wife, Norma took me in and has shown me the immense value that comes with family. Through all the love and anger, joy and sorrow family is always there to give you comfort and guidence. Norma was there for me and all of the people in her life. Being from a small family these lessons have meant a lot to me, as I now know what it means to have family.I will miss her.

Mom, its been just over two months since you left us. I am missing you terribly, but I know your up there swapping stories with grandpa Frank, eating grandma Ann's chocolate sheet cake, poking uncle Don. We helped grandpa today, Erik pruned roses for him, I watered you Iris's. Love you greatly, miss you. Will see you down the road, to swap stories of Gillian's college graduation, her children, and her career, writer, professor mentor. You would be so proud of her, you always were. She is quite the child, granddaughter, thanks to you. Love you mom, till we meet again Lee Ann, you baby daughter!

Grandma,
You were one of the most inspirational women I have ever known, and the life lessons that you have provided me with are truly invaluable. My childhood is filled with endless memories of cookie baking, re-arranging crocheted coasters on your kitchen floor, eating cookies from your cookie jar or grandpa's dill pickles..., raiding your hallway closet for coloring books and books to read with you, and finding blueberries for your breakfast cereal in the garden with grandpa. The memories I share with you are irreplaceable lessons in love and life that I would not trade for the world, and for that I thank you.
You are greatly missed down here, but I know that you're being taken care of up there. I love you. :
