EDWARD L. WEBB Edward L. Webb, age 66, passed away while elk hunting north of Carson, WA on November 10, 2009. He was born January 27, 1943 in Helena, Arkansas and moved to the Camas area at the age of 10. He worked at the paper mill and joined the National Guard where he was trained as a mechanic. He would later move to Battle Ground and he operated Ed's Auto Repair for 20 plus years. For the past five years he has worked at Sundance Rockery. Ed enjoyed hunting, scenic photography and was always helping people. He is survived by his brothers, Wayne Webb of Ephrata, WA, Andy Webb of Vancouver, Rodney Fretland of Williston, ND; sisters, Julia Huravitch of Williston, ND, Frances Page of Camas, Jean Hammack of Tell City, IN, June Swofford of Vancouver, Milli Bushaw of Vancouver, and Pam Workman of Williston, ND. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 16 at 1pm at New Heights Church in Vancouver. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
