Ed, we grew up as neighbors. I remember that me, you and your sisters getting off the school bus up at Hedges corner & walking home, cause we thought we could get home quicker than waiting for the bus to go all the way around the loop for us. My husband Ronald remembers you as a top notch mechanic. You will be missed.

I met Ed through my dad, Butch Davis. I remember Ed as such a sweet and caring man. I have not seen Ed for several years, but have always remembered his kindness. My dad was very sad to hear the news. The world has lost a good man. My prayers are with the family.

Uncle Ed was one of a kind in more ways than one. I remember having fun with him as young boy just like he was an older brother, always having as much fun as me, now that I look back on it maybe more. He was handy with the tools for sure and worked very hard. No question about where he stood on things whether you asked or not. Thanks for the memories Uncle Ed, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Ed was A Great customer and a dear friend to us all. He would come in with that big smile and you were never sure what would come out of his mouth. He had Breakfast last week and said he was heading out to find a ORANGE sweatshirt because he had forgotten his at home and did not want to get shot.
We all told him to be careful and we would see him when he got back.
We had lost another customer in October and had closed early for the funeral and he had teased me about closing early and was I going to Close early for his funeral to? I told him I just might do that, and he laughed and threw his money over the counter, One of his favorite things to do just to see a reaction. "We did close early today Ed and it was just for you." He will be missed greatly everyday by all of us at the Restaurant. Rest In Peace Our Friend...

Uncle Edward, you were a wonderful, talented man who loved to live life to the fullest. As a young boy you taught me how to live life like you and to help me understand why it was so important.
As a young man, you taught me how important it was to work hard and love those around you. We shared many stories with one another like father and son would do. I will cherish the time we had together until we are again standing side by side.
I will miss our weekly talks about life, family and cars. I will miss your laugh and the smile you gave me no matter what we were doing together.
I love you Unc,
David

I didn't often see Uncle Ed as I became an adult, but I have strong memories of him from childhood. He was always kind, and seemed to always be laughing. Sometimes even though the joke seemed to be a private one. He was always there to lend a hand, especially to those like me, most likely his least mechanically inclined nephew in every way! The years don't change those childhood memories and feelings. It may have been a while since I saw him, but that little boy inside me remembers him fondly, and will miss him dearly. The tears I shed as I write this, are for both of us. Goodbye Uncle Ed, I love you and miss you.

Ed was the kindness man I have ever met. He made friends easily and everyone knew him. He was a private person. I never heard him say anything bad about a person. I can't believe I won't bump into him at Julie's Country Kitchen or Albertsons.

My husband and I met Ed at Sundance Rockery when we moved to Camas a couple of years ago. We had a lot of projects to complete and we stopped to get Ed's advise and assistance quite often. My husband, Ritchie, enjoyed the banter and joking with Ed. They really understood each other's sense of humor. Ed always had a smile on his face, remembered our names and seemed genuinely happy to see us. He was hard working and very helpful. I used to come by to look at product with our contractor and then again with my husband. Ed would always tease me about my 2 boyfirends.
Yesterday we were walking our dog at the dog park next to Sundance and I said, "I wonder how Ed is doing. We should stop and see him." This morning we saw his obituary. I wish we would have taken the time to see him sooner.
We are very sorry for your loss.

My brother Ed was one of a kind. He loved us all, even when mad at us. He was crazy about his nephews and nieces and laughed at the dumb stuff some of the boys would do. He called them the "four Musketeers" behind their backs. Dickie, Michael, Olin, and David...Uncle Ed loved you all completely! I will miss him. I know we all will.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and love.

I met Ed while working at Walgreens. He would come in almost everyday to buy a snack or something to drink, and he would always finds me to say "hi" or do a little flirting. He was just in last week, and I helped him find a sweatshirt to wear......he was talking about going hunting for a few days. He was a really nice guy, and we'll miss seeing him in our store.
I'm sorry for your loss.
