CHRISTA L. RAYMOND Christa L. Raymond, of Stevenson, WA, passed away June 18, 2009 at the age of 39. She was born February 21, 1970 in Everett, WA. Christa grew up in Sweet Home, OR and moved to Stevenson, WA about 13 years ago. She worked as a nurse and a child home care provider before working at the Forest Service, a job she loved. Christa enjoyed hiking, rock and frog collecting and everything outdoors. Mainly she loved doing for others. She was a wonderful mother and strived to do all she could for her children. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sasha Grace Evelyn Raymond and brother, Kenneth Henthorne. She is survived by her children, Angeline Clint Starbuck of Burns, OR, Blake Raymond of Troutdale, OR, Toby Garrison of Carson, WA, Annalynn Raymond of Stevenson, WA; mother, Evelyn Doble of Beaverton, OR; father, Sam Claire Henthorne of Sweet Home, OR; brothers, Rod Henthorne of Sweet Home, OR, Wayne Henthorne of Aloha, OR; sister, Lisa Henthorne of Sweet Home, OR; grandson, Kenneth Troy Starbuck of Burns, OR. Private services will be held at a later date. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial donations can be given to the Smokey Bear Forest Information Service @ US Forest Service 1400 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, D.C. 20250-0003.
