To Sis and the Grable Family,
I\'m still at a loss for words over Lorraine\'s passing. She and Bill contributed so much to the baseball and bowling teams of the community. I look back fondly on the memories of league night that I was able to share with Lorraine and Bill. Keep them in your heart and they are never more than an arm\'s length away. God Bless Your Family during this difficult time of loss and sorrow. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Grabel Family,
As I was reading my ex-husbands obituary, which I do oftenI saw Lorraine\'s obituary, and I couldn\'t believe it!
I met Lorraine through Steve and her kids he coached.
I liked her from the get go, her personality and sense of humor was only matched by Steve\'s and they teased eachother often!
Thank you, Lorraine for letting me sit with you during the endless games at the Babe Ruth Park, it was a joy to sit and talk with you.
Alot of the time we were talking so much during the games that we would have to ask eachother what just happened in the game!
Lorraine, you will be greatly missed !
My sympathy goes out to all of the family and now Steve and Lorraine can talk all they want about baseball!

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I hope you are all finding peace even in this great time of loss. Your Mom was so nice, and it was cool to read all about her in the paper as I had no idea she was such a hero. I should have known.
May she rest in peace..
Sincerely, Shannon Nickelsen

I\'m very sorry to hear the sad news of your loss. I have many fond memories of Lorraine including the trip in 1983 to the Senior Babe Ruth World Series in Ohio. She really made that trip fun for me. I appreciate everything she did for baseball in Camas.
The day of her passing is ironic as it was one of the funniest memories I can think back on. I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from the Liberty Theater. I must of been all of 11 or 12. She and Barb Krout came out of one of the clubs down the street, I was the only one around and it felt to me like it was Midnight. They were both dressed as Cave Women with these HUGH clubs. They shouted "There is that Kenny Ediger kid, let\'s get him". I swear they must have chased me two blocks before they gave up, laughing all the way back down towards the Liberty.
Again, I\'m sorry for your loss.

Auntie Grable will be missed. But she will be remembered as well. We will always fondly remember her as the doting "Auntie" of all the little junior bowlers who gathered on Saturday mornings at Riverside Bowl. She provided a wonderful, accepting, and supporing atmosphere for all the kids. She imparted a positive impact into the future of our world through the work she did with all our children.

My parents and I would like to express our sadness to your family\'s loss. "Auntie \'Raine" as may new her, was just that...an Aunt and Mother to so many who knew her. I can\'t count how many times she saw me through my darkest of times, and encouraged me through the best of times. She always had a warm smile, even when it was too cold in the bowling alley for her. She will be greatly missed.
