Obituary of Lonnie Leroy Wisbey

LONNIE L. WISBEY Lonnie L. Wisbey was born March 24, 1948 in Centralia, WA, the son of Donald and Luella Wisbey. He passed away on August 30, 2008 at his home in Washougal. Lonnie was united in marriage to Trudi Springer on July 7, 1974 at Forest Grove, OR. He worked as a dental technician for many years and was a long time member of the Laurelwood Seventh-Day Adventist village church. Mr. Wisbey enjoyed riding his â??Harleyâ?? and was the club â??Santaâ?? for several years. He served in the U.S. Army Medical division and was a very proud veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Luella. Survivors include his wife, Trudi of Washougal; father, Donald Wisbey; daughter, Alisha R. Wisbey of Vancouver; three grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald D. and Brenda Wisbey of Scappoose, OR; Sharon and Carl Helms of Louisiana, Roy Wisbey of Ashland, OR, and Daniel and Cynthia Wisbey of Washougal. Interment will be September 27 at 1pm at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery in Washougal. Arrangements are under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice Southwest, P.O. Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668.
