Lonnie was my boss in 1973-1975!
I worked at that Harris Pine Mills in Laurel wood again in 1985-1987 when the doors were closed in 1986, reopened to liquidate their assets, I was laid off May 1987 never to return to working there. I took a tour of Laurel wood Academy in August of 2012 last year. Sorry to hear of Lonnie Passing I knew he was way to young. I remember Trudy and Lonnie well!

I will miss my uncle Lonnie. My fondest memory is when I was about 3 or 4 and I would wake up before my parents and sneak out of the house in my jammies and run down our driveway to where my uncle Lonnie and aunt Trudy lived in a trailer. I would wake them up and crawl in their bed, wet plastic pajama feet and all! My mom would end up looking all over for me and yelling for me down the driveway to come home. Uncle lonnie always had the nicest kindest things to say to me. I remember he called me sugar and I thought that was neat. He laughed a lot and always had a joke...whether I was allowed to hear it or not! As I got older I saw less and less of him as lives become busier. I regret not making it out to see him before he passed as he was my favorite uncle. He was kind patient and loving. I will miss him greatly.

Whenever I\'ve seen a man who has reminded me of Santa, my next thought has always been of Lonnie. He was a kind, soft-spoken, big-hearted man. Truly the kind of man deserving to fill Santa\'s boots. I can envision him riding on his "Harley sleigh" making Christmas brighter for those he\'s joined, while leaving the rest of us with forever fond memories.
Trudi and family: My heart goes out to you at this time of great sadness. My hope is that the many smiles and warm memories that Lonnie has left behind will help you in the difficult days ahead. May love and peace be with you.

I am sorry for your loss and, with Gods help, you will get through the sorrow. Maybe you could look at it that Lonnie is out there right now riding the greatest roads in the universe. Again, my sympathies.

Trudi: Greg and I are Modesto HOG members and became Widows after your move; but remember Lonnie well as "Santa" on the 5-house rides. He truly was "Santa" in our eyes and hearts. Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

Trudi, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Christmas here on earth will not be the same without Lonnie, but I am sure there will be many children in heaven having a much brighter Christmas because of him.

Lonnie & Trudi always brought so much joy to everyone. I remember not only the many Mr & Mrs Santa appearances for the Harley group but also the special visit you made for our 4-H group in Empire. Lonnie will be missed by many. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy to Trudi & the Wisbey family. Lonnie was a soft spoken man with a heart of gold that was always there for a friend. The years Lonnie was our "Santa Claus" made thousands of happy memories for the children and seniors he visited. All who knew him will feel a great loss at his passing. We were proud we had the opportunity to know him as a friend, a HOG member and then later on, as a fellow Widow. We know there\'s a special place in heaven reserved for Lonnie.
