Obituary of Helen F. Gilbert

HELEN F. GILBERT Helen F. Gilbert, age 97, passed away February 19, 2008 in Vancouver. She was born December 17, 1910 in Portland, OR where she grew up and worked as a secretary for various Portland businesses. She married Robert Gilberts on June 30, 1952 and they made their home in Portland. Robert passed away in 1990 and Helen later moved to Vancouver. She loved to garden and going to the beach. She also had a special fondness for cats. She is survived by her step-daughter, Patsey Sigler of Florida; sister, Juanita McEneny of Vancouver; nieces Kathy Essex of Camas and Sharon McEneny of Vancouver and nephew Donald McEneny of Vancouver. A private family service will be held at Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
