Obituary of Carolina H. Dobson

CAROLINA HERNANDEZ DOBSON Carolina Dobson of Logan, Utah, died Saturday January 27th in Camas. She was 70 years old. Carolina was born December 31, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas to Emiterio and Carmen Ortiz Hernandez. She was one of nine children. She married Blair Dobson and in 1961 they moved to Washougal. They moved to Camas a few years later, residing in the Grass Valley area. She moved to Logan, Utah about six years ago. Carolina was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, searching for antiques gardening and scripture study. Another hobby was worrying about her grandchildren. She collected coins and Christmas decorations and possessed a great knowledge about the properties of herbs and spices. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Carolina Dobson is survived by her sons Blair Dobson, Jr. of Vancouver and Brett Dobson of Camas; daughters Lisa Gamble of Logan, Utah and Laura Montgomery of Hershey, Pennsylvania as well as 18 grandchildren. Funeral services for Carolina will be Friday February 1st at 10 AM at the Prune Hill LDS Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.
