HELEN PIERCE Helen Pierce, of Vancouver, passed away January 31 at the age of 98. She was born July 31, 1909 in White Rock, SD to Marjorie Shirk and Joseph Hovren. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Gildehous of Washougal, Margery Fulton of Paradise Valley, AZ; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, February 5 at 3pm at the Washougal United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm to 5pm and Tuesday from 9am to 1pm at Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas. To send condolences or to sign the online guest book visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
