Obituary of Patricia H. Bolen

PATRICIA H. BOLEN Patricia Bolen, of Camas, passed away November 30, 2007 in Vancouver at the age of 76. She was born June 28, 1931 in Coos Bay, OR to Dorothy Lamson and Alva Harry. She lived in Coos Bay until moving to Portland where she graduated from high school at St. Helens Hall. Patricia attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in English Literature. In 1954 she married Allan Bolen in Gold Beach, OR and they made their home in Portland. She worked with Allan in the business?s that they operated. She would later work for Freightliner and retired from NW Natural Gas. Patricia remained busy by working with Allan in their importing business. She enjoyed birds and traveling. Patricia was also a member of the Junior League and the 1st Presbyterian Church in Portland. She is survived by her, Allan Bolen of Camas. A celebration of Patricia?s life will be held Thursday, December 6 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Ray Hickey Hospice House @ 2112 E Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661.
