Obituary of Florence Cecilia Hagen-Hamilton

FLORENCE CECILIA HAGEN-HAMILTON Florence C. Hagen-Hamilton, of Washougal, passed away November 13, 2007 in Vancouver at the age of 86. She was born October 16, 1921 in Ambrose, ND to Lena Clausen and Ole A. Hagen. She moved to Camas as a child and graduated from Camas High School. She later moved to California and attended beauty school. It was there that she married Michael Hamilton and they lived in Huntington Park, CA. She went to work as a supervisor for Hoffman Electronics, which later became Gould Electronics, for 25 years. After retirement they moved to Las Vegas. After the passing of her husband in 1998 she moved back to Washougal to be closer to her family. Florence was a member of the Lutheran Church. She liked to play slot machines and going out to eat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael in 1998; sister, Cora Hagen-Hopkins; brothers, Carl Hagen, Harold Hagen, Trygve Hagen and Arky Hagen. Survivors include her brother, Arthur Hagen of Camas; numerous nieces and nephews including Linda Wilson and Beverly Seagraves, both of Washougal, who were more like daughters. A graveside service will be Monday, November 19 at 11am at the Camas Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 16 from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas.
