Obituary of Jean Trowbridge Humason

JEAN TROWBRIDGE HUMASON Jean Humason, age 75, passed away October 31, 2007 at home in Washougal. She was born February 7, 1932 in San Jose, CA to Floyd and Eva Jackson Trowbridge. Jean grew up in San Jose and attended UC Berkeley. She met and married Harry Humason in 1951. They moved to the Los Angeles area where she continued her education, worked and raised her family. They moved to Oregon in 1990 and then to Washougal in 2003. She held many jobs during her life including executive secretary, Librarian, district transportation coordinator for Lincoln County, OR and a tax preparer. Jean enjoyed sewing, knitting and cross stitch. She was also a member of the women?s sorority ESA. She was preceded in death by sons, Michael and Robert and a sister, Marian. Survivors include her husband, Harry, at home; children, Steve Dorene Humason of Folsom, CA; Linda Dan Jacobs of Washougal; their ward, Fernando Bekah Galindo of Newport, OR; sister, Dorothy Ruth of Fresno, CA and grandson, Matthew Humason of Folsom, CA. At her request there will be no public services. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
