JAMES Jimmy JAY MARGESON August 6th 1948 - February 29th, 2012 Jimmy beloved father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend. Your kind and generous nature was witnessed by many and you will be sorely missed. On Feb 29TH, 2012 JAMES Jimmy JAY MARGESON, 63, was called home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ after a five year battle with a rare skin cancer. He was born to James and Cecelia Margeson on August 6, 1948, in Vancouver, WA the first of three children. Jimmy graduated from Walla Walla high school in 1966. He attended Lower Columbia College and Walla Walla Community College before joining the Navy in 1968. He was stationed in San Diego aboard the USS Ogden. After a tour of duty in Vietnam, he was privileged to do a recovery mission of the Apollo 14 space capsule aboard the USS New Orleans Carrier After leaving the Navy He returned to the Camas Washougal area to live out the remainder of his life. He worked for GP for over 25 years before retiring in 2006. Jimmy had many interests and enjoyed the great outdoors. He was a bowling enthusiast rolling a 299 at riverside Bowl in Camas. After retiring, he bought a Harley and spent time traveling. One of his great joys was spending time with his golfing buddies. Jimmy is survived by his sisters Julia Rider and Susan Sampson both of Camas. Children, Shayne of Washougal, Brad Margeson Ashley of Battle Ground, and Jennifer Javier Siu of Camas. Grandchildren Jayden, Analeigh, Skyler, Evan and Natalie. He was preceded in death by his parents. At his request, there will be no formal funeral. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of His Life at 4:00 p.m. March 9, 2012 at the WildLife League, 811 S.E. Leadbetter Rd., Camas, WA 98607.
