Obituary of Jeanne Marie Haman

JEANNE MARIE HAMAN Jeanne Haman, of Camas, passed away October 14, 2007 in Portland, OR. She was born December 25, 1931 in Oregon City, OR to Everett and Ronella Dunmire Freytag. Jeanne grew up in Port Townsend, WA and moved to St. Helens when she was in high school. She married Kermit Haman on December 23, 1951 and they moved to Camas where they lived until moving to California in 1954 settling in the Ojai Valley. They moved back to Camas in 1997 and Kermit passed away in 1998. Jeanne belonged to a couple of RV clubs and loved gardening bike riding and crocheting until her health made it hard to continue those activities. She then participated in volunteer services that she could do from her home. Jeanne enjoyed her coffee times with friends at Crown Villa. She is survived by her children David Freytag of St. Helens, OR, Dennis Haman of Camas, WA, Petra Haman Orta of Yuma, AZ, Patricia King of Camas, WA; sister, Betsy Timmons of St. Helens, OR; grandchildren, Shawn Haman, Joseph & Daniel King and great grandchildren, Dominic, Michael and Andy Haman. A memorial service will be Friday, October 19 at 11am at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Inurnment will be private at Willamette National Cemetery.
