Obituary of Wallie Clint Emerson

WALLIE CLINT EMERSON Wallie Clint Emerson passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2007. He was born February 2, 1947 in Fargo, ND to Walter and Kathryn Emerson. His family moved to Vancouver when he was four and he lived the last 20 years in his country home in Washougal. Wallie enjoyed his life at home with his family and the menagerie of pets his youngest daughter successfully snuck home. He loved to work with his hands and was a carpenter by trade and at heart and loved to create projects for his home, as well as the numerous projects requested by his wife and children. He was always telling jokes and making people laugh. He was a rough, straight-forward man who always said what was on his mind but was always more caring than he let on. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter and his brothers, Thomas and Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his children, Shane, Richelle, Scott and Katie; grandson, Michael David; mother, Kathryn; sister, Sherrie; brother-in-law, Ed; brother, Timothy; sister-in-law, Monte; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was well loved. At his request there will be no services. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
