Obituary of Beverly Matthews Wright

Beverly Matthews Wright passed away June 28, 2007 in Vancouver. She was born February 11, 1916 in Lynden, WA. Her youngest years were spent in Olympia Washington. When she was 10, her family moved to Washougal WA where her father operated Matthews Men?s? Store for several decades. She married Arnold Wright in 1958 and resided in Vancouver Heights. Beverly spent many years in her career as Executive Assistant in the Central Research Division at Crown Zellerbach. She retired almost 30 years ago. Beverly loved flowers, animals and dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Wright in 1997. Beverly is survived by her stepchildren, Juanita Toodie McVey of Loon Lake WA, Sonny Wright of Loon Lake, WA and Joan Priester of Portland; her nephews, Fabian Kuchin of Ellensburg, WA and Steve Kuchin of Anacortes WA, and friend, Jo Marie Hansen. She will be inurned at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at the Hansen home in July. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17,Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633.
