Obituary of Amelia Stencel

AMELIA STENCEL Amelia Stencel, 96, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Camas. She was born January 13, 1911 in Elliot, ND. She moved to the Camas/Washougal area in 1940 from Greeley, CO and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1977. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Stencel of Washougal, Wallace Stencel of Camas; daughter, Betty Power of San Leandro, CA; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Memorial donations can be given to Zion Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 8 at 10am at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Interment will be at the Camas Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
