Obituary of Melba Repman

A funeral mass for Melba Repman, who passed away on April 27, 2007 at the age of 86, will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas on Thursday, May 3, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Repman was born on January 25, 1921 in Washougal, WA the daughter of Viola Gibbons and Leroy Roley. A lifelong resident of the Camas-Washougal area, Melbe graduated valedictorian from Washougal Higth School in 1938. She married George Repman on August 11, 1943. He passed away in 1996. Mrs. Repman was a former member of the Orchard Hills Country Club and a volunteer at the Treasure House. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Repman is survived by her sister, Sarah Rosentreter of Boring, OR; sons, Thomas of Eugene, OR, Charles of Port Angeles, WA, Christopher of Washougal, Patrick of Vancouver and Lawrence of Seattle; daughters, Sharon Steinmeyer and Mary Persons both of Camas and Paula Repman of Boise, ID; eighteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
