There are three settings in which my fond memories of Darlene pop out in my mind very vividly. The first, of course, is as a great neighbor. The second is when she worked in the office in the High School. I came in to get my transcripts when I was well into my adult life. She had to really dig, but she helped me out so graciously. The third is running literally into her and Bud while on their walks through Hathaway Park and vicinity. What sweet memories! She will sorely be missed.
I would have made it to the funeral, but I was out of town for the last two weeks.
Hugs,
