LYMAN A. LAMM
Lyman "Spud" Lamm, age 97, passed away on February 22, 2012. He was born on May 22, 1914 in Gering, NE. His family moved to Stevenson, WA where his father, William Lamm, was the Postmaster and Lyman later worked at the mill. He married Vola Pilkay and they made their home in Washougal. He spent a short time in the Mechant Marines and later worked at the paper mill in Camas. Lyman enjoyed playing golf at Orchard Hills Country Club and Beacon Rock Golf Course. He once hit 2 holes in one in one day and had a total of three through his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Vola in 2006.
He is survived by his son William of Vancouver and nieces Jackie Faley and Virginia Gimmey both of Washougal.
