Virginia Galloway Miller, 85, passed away quietly, painlessly in her home in Washougal, WA, October 20, 2006. She was born July 20, 1921 in Lincoln, NE. Cherished as a friend and mother, Virginia was revered and respected in her professional life, she was an avid sports fan, a spirited political debater, and was passionate about her music, reading and travel. Gran was a loving guardian to her precious grandchildren, Elyse, Adrien, Kyle and Riley. Virginia was the daughter of Herman William and Minnie Elizabeth Galloway of California where her brothers Charles and Bill Galloway still reside. She was married to John Richard Miller of Austin, MN father to her four children, Jon Norman, Ann Marie, Eric Richard and Glen Galloway Miller. Virginia is survived by daughter Ann and her husband Dick Patrick of Washougal, son Glen Miller of Denver, CO and Norman Miller of VT. As she would have wished, her family will celebrate her life at a later date. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
