Obituary of Clarice J. Sundby

CLARICE J. SUNDBY Our precious mother, Clarice Sundby, passed away October 3, 2006 at the age of 83 in Vancouver. She was born in Pelican Rapids, MN on April 22, 1923 to Theodore and Josie Kantrud. Clarice graduated from high school and married Chet Sundby in 1941. They moved the West Coast in 1946 and settled in the Camas/Washougal area in 1949. Clarice was a homemaker and was a longtime and active member of the Camas Friends Church. She enjoyed baking and sharing those goodies with her friends and family. Clarice devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chet in 1996 and son, Phillip in 1969. Survivors include Jeff and Laurie Sundby of Battle Ground, WA, Bill and Traci Sundby, Mark and Denette Sundby both of Washougal; Cheryl and Wayne Burchett of Washougal; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, October 6 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
