Obituary of Carolyn ''Jean'' Pederson

CAROLYN ?JEAN? PEDERSON Carolyn ?Jean? Pederson, born July 10, 1931 in Spokane, WA, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2006 in Vancouver, WA. She was 75. She moved to Washougal in 1941 and graduated from Washougal High School in 1949. She married Walt Pederson on September 18, 1949. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt; parents, Rex & Martha Rodgers and brother, Bob Rodgers. She is survived by her son, Rick Pederson of Battle Ground, WA; daughters, Tami Palmer of Washougal and Leisha Copsey of Camas; brother, Wayne Rodgers of Washougal; sister, Annise Sampson of Camas; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean loved to garden and to watch her grandchildren?s sports and TV sports. She was always busy knitting and crocheting things for her family. She also loved her three constant companions, her two dogs and the cat. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 14 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home.
