Douglas H. Mylin, of Camas, passed away Thursday, September 21 in Vancouver at the age of 52.
He was born September 2, 1954 in Webster, SD and grew up in Denver, CO. He moved to the Camas/Washougal area in the early 1980's. Douglas joined the Army and was stationed at Ft. Lewis. After his military service he married Gail Alley in 1988 and lived in Camas. Douglas worked as a welder for Thompson Metal Fab. in Vancouver. He loved music and was a blues musician. He also played guitar, drums and piano.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; step-children, William Alley of Portland, Richard Alley of Camas, Tamara Freeman of Camas; mother, Dorothy Mylin of Vancouver; brothers, David Mylin of Vancouver, Don Mylin of Boring, OR and 3 grandchildren.
