Obituary of Donald Dean Page

DONALD DEAN PAGE Donald Page, age 75, passed away July 31, 2006 at SW Washington Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born March 1, 1931 in Bismarck, ND. Don spoke fondly of when he was a child and walking to school in deep snow only sometimes being able to ride his horse. He admired his grandparents, as his grandfather was the Blacksmith in the town of Denhoff, ND. His family moved to Portland, OR in the 1940?s to find work in the shipyards. Don married his wife of 28 years, Irene on June 30, 1979 and had worked as a long haul driver for 40 years. Mr. Page had been retired for many years and pursued his hobbies. He is survived by his wife, Irene, at home; son Rick, daughters, Teresa and Renee all of Kelso, WA; stepdaughters, Carol Nichols of Portland, OR, Deborah Brooks of Gold Canyon, AZ, Pamela Jones of Camas, WA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service was held Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 3pm at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Washougal. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
