Obituary of Dolores May Marshall

DOLORES MAY MARSHALL Dolores Marshall, a longtime Washougal resident, passed away Monday, July 24 in Vancouver. She was 82. Dolores was born October 28, 1923 in Marmoth, ND and moved to Sturgis, SD as a young girl. After graduating from high school she married Wilford Marshall in June of 1941. In 1943 she moved to Portland, OR where they lived until moving to Washougal in 1953. Dolores worked mainly as a homemaker but also worked at Highland Terrace Nursing Home for a short time. Mrs. Marshall enjoyed the company of her dog, Heidi, and used to spend time knitting. She particularly liked working around the farm. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wilford at home; sons, Dennis and Robert both of Camas, Larry of Bend, OR; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be Saturday, July 29 at 1pm at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas.
