Obituary of Imelda M. Shortall

IMELDA M. SHORTALL Imelda Shortall, age 88, passed away July 18 at home in Vancouver. She was born May 10, 1918 in Boston, MA where she was raised. She attended Boston State Teachers College and then married James Shortall in 1943. James was a Naval Officer so they moved every two years until he retired. They settled in Old Lyme, CT until moving to Vancouver in 1983 to be close to family. Imelda enjoyed reading and was a member at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Irene Conable of Riverside, CA and her grandson, Edward Conable of Riverside, CA. A funeral mass will be Friday, July 21 at 10 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. Vault interment will follow at the Camas Cemetery.
