Obituary of Delbert M. Bush

DELBERT M. BUSH Del Bush died May 2, 2006 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. He was 88. Del was born August 4, 1917 in Ladue, Washington, now known as Longview. He was the youngest of 3 brothers. Del worked at Crown Zellerbach right out of high school until the Army drafted him in 1940. He served 28 years in the military and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1968. He worked 25 years at Crown Zellerbach and then retired from Portco Paper Company in 1980. Del enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife, Margaret of 63 years, cutting brush, helping other people and happy hour. He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Ocean Park, WA, son, Edward Bush of Camas, WA, Grandson, Justin Del Bush, college student at Central Washington State University and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. A military service will be held in mid July in Camas. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
