Obituary of Jack Keith Krahn

JACK KEITH KRAHN Jack Kranh, age 80, passed away June 14, 2006 at home in Washougal. He was born December 15, 1925 in Port Hope, MN to Edwin and Lucile Burton Krahn. Jack and his family moved to the Camas/Washougal area in 1950 from Bemidji, MN. He worked at the local paper mill owned by Crown Zellerbach from 1950-1985. He and Dorothy were married for 58 years. He was preceded in death by sons, Wallace Pete and Daniel Joe Krahn and sister, Nila Krecklow. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, at home; daughters, Sandy Coomes of Camas, Judy Beardshear of Camas, Patti Krahn of Washougal, Mary Cleaver of Camas; sons, Jack Krahn, Jr. of Council Bluffs, IA, Russell Krahn of Carson, WA; sisters, Marge Jacobs of Kalispell, MT, Dode Coller of Bemidji, MN, Edna Brandt of Seneca, SC; brothers, Dean Krahn of Hermiston, OR, Bud Krahn of Hehn, CA; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jack?s life will be held at a pot luck picnic at Fallen Leaf Park on Everett St. in Camas on Thursday, June 22 at 2pm.
