Obituary of Glenda E. Stephens

GLENDA E. STEPHENS Glenda Stephens, age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006 in Camas. She was born January 15, 1926 in Antlers, OK and was raised in Oklahoma and Texas. Glenda married Cecil Stephens in 1945 in Clarksville, TX. Cecil was in the Air Force so the family moved often. When he retired from the military in 1960 they settled in Vancouver and Glenda mainly worked as a homemaker. She loved playing Bingo, going for walks and to garage sales. She is survived by her children, Patricia Spencer of Washougal, WA, Robert Stephens of Reno, NV, Scott Stephens of Vancouver, WA; twin sister, Linda Wylkie of Vancouver; sisters, Polly Forqner of Folsom, CA, Elretta Stephens of Texas; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil in 1982 and a son, David in 1998. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18 from 12PM to 3PM at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will be private at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
